Inception. (January 2016)
The HEALinc was spearheaded by Dr. Desirée Cox in The Bahamas in January 2017. During this inception (‘beta test’) phase the key Research and Development (R&D) collaborators/ Principal Investigators were Dr. Desirée Cox, Dr. Calae Philippe, Dr. Hanna-Mahase, Mrs. Aubynette Rolle, Mr Montino Roberts and Dr. Paulette Cash, who collaborated to bring three (3) ’passion projects’ to life.
The ’beta test’ was a tremendous success producing ground-breaking IRB approved research and Minimal Viable Products (MVPs) that will be featured in sub-regional PAHO/WHO Health Innovation platforms for advancing Universal Health Coverage in the Caribbean and Latin American region of The Americas.
Dissemination. (December 2016 – April 2017)
The ’beta test’ was a tremendous success producing ground-breaking IRB approved research and Minimal Viable Products (MVPs). The information was shared with a cross-section of audiences within the healthcare sector in The Bahamas, the University of the West Indies, and internationally and has been well received.
Following the presentation of the results at a sub-regional PAHO/WHO Health Innovation Symposium in October 2017, two HEALinc Health Innovation case studies will be featured in a sub-regional PAHO/WHO Health Innovation platform for advancing Universal Health Coverage in the Caribbean and Latin American region of The Americas.
Re-grouping and Up-Scaling the HEALinc impact. (September 2017 – February 2018)
How do we scale the impact of the HEALinc? How do we unearth, activate and inspire the 1 billion “Healthcare Creatives’? Who should we partner with? These are the questions we have been addressing as we prepare to announce our new collaborators, sponsors, partners and programs in February 2018.
